Troop 801 was chartered on January 1, 1981, and is sponsored by the Church of St. Mark, 812 Reckord Road, Fallston, Maryland.  Saint Mark's Church website is www.saintmarkfallston.org.  Baltimore Area Council. The Troop meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the main hall of the Msgr. McCall Center. Troop 801 has roughly 95 active Scouts ranging from sixth through twelfth grades, plus around 40 active Adult Leaders.
The philosophy of the Troop is simple - we seek to take beginner Scouts and develop them into tough, socially responsible citizen-leaders with positive, can-do attitudes towards their own and America's future. As an aid to this philosophy, the Troop runs an ambitious Scout-run outdoor/camping program, with at least one major (weekend) activity a month, plus a comprehensive advancement program. The Troop also participates in several long-term camping trips every summer, including a BSA summer camp, a BSA high adventure trek (Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier, Jamboree) and a Troop-developed high adventure trek. Please refer to our calendar for a list of this year's outdoor programs.

If your son is interested in joining our Troop or if you are interested in joining Troop 801 as an Adult Leader, (and meet our membership restrictions), please email the Scoutmaster using the contact link from our home page, and arrange a visit to an upcoming Troop meeting.
